Recently restructured and refurbished, these are the largest and most dramatically situated suites at the Hotel Splendido, with astonishing views and magnificent terraces overlooking Portofino's Cove and the Tigullio. Presidential Suite
Unique. Two bedroom Suite recently restructured and refurbished with four magnificent spacious terraces overlooking Portofino's cove and Tigullio. Charming, well furnished, tastefully appointed in delicate pastel colours that complement the breathtaking view of the Bay. The master Bedroom is sumptuously decorated with a tromp d'oeil. An Executive Junior suite connects to the Master unit making it truly a home from home. Equipped with king size or twin beds.
 
Splendido Mare
16 Rooms including 10 doubles, 4 junior suites and 2 suites all elegantly decorated and furnished. Most have balconies with superb views of Portofino's cove and the village.

Double Rooms
Delicately furnished and decorated in light Mediterranean pastel colours these rooms are spacious and airy. Some have views facing the sea and harbour while others enjoy a village view from windows, balcony or terrace.

Junior Suites
These Junior Suites measure from 32 to 40 square metres and mostly offer a terrace or balcony overlooking the Piazzetta and harbour. The decor and colour scheme are in sunny Mediterranean shades, and are very restful.  King size beds, sofas and armchairs assure the utmost comfort.
 
Ava Gardner Suite
Stretching along the whole top floor this suite offers the largest terrace available in the Hotel with an incomparable view of the harbour, promontory and castle, fully visible from the bed and the sitting room. The 56 sq mt. (170sq ft) terrace is adorned by a huge potted lemon tree and hanging flowering mediterranean plants of all kinds. The bedroom is large and well lit from two windows which highlight the soft pastel tones of the walls, fabrics and furniture. A large door connects to the sitting room, with almost wall-to-wall glass window which, when open, gives the sitting room and terrace a feeling of just one large space, half indoor and half outdoor.

With wonderful views overlooking the bustling harbour of Portofino and towards castello Brown and the Piazzetta this suite offers both a balcony and terrace in the sitting room, and is arranged on different levels. Walks & Nature
The Splendido is on the promontory of Portofino, a regional park of great natural beauty, and a mecca for walkers, hikers, and picnickers.  No roads, only walking paths, leading through olive groves, gardens, vineyards, up into the shady forest with pines overhead, chestnuts underfoot and ferns all around. They lead high above the see along steep slopes that dive cleanly into the deep Ligurian Sea, and may guide you to a monastery established in the 10th century, hidden in the tranquil cove, accessible only by boat or on foot.

The Hotel's new motor boat, Chris-Craft Corsair 36,  can accommodate up to 6/8 persons and is at guests' disposal for excursions into the Gulf of Tigullio. It offers unprecedented interior space and luxury for a boat of this type.
