A new concept in world travel. Created by The Reef Atlantis on Paradise Island, Bahamas, Blue Tourism offers resort guests and other visitors an opportunity to both interact with and support the ocean through a combination of ocean-based experiences and marine conservation programs.

Blue Tourismsm is the first initiative of Blue Tourism sponsored by the Kerzner Marine Foundation, which will identify and support protected coral reef sites which guests may visit.

Splashers - Located next to the Mayan Temple. An elaborate Mayan-themed water play structure features three tube slides and a side-by-side slide, cargo nets and rope bridges for climbing, water cannons, fountains and water wheels for endless soaking. Overhead, a 320-gallon bucket will regularly shower water lovers below with 8000 gallons of water per hour.

Please Note: Guests must be at least 48 inches tall to ride the water slides. The pools are open and lifeguards are on duty selected times. Children ages 16 and under that are within the pool and beach areas must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Swimming in the lagoon or ocean beyond the buoys and designated marked areas is not allowed.

AQUAVENTURE:
This newly opened 63-acre waterscape is the centerpiece of Atlantis' recent billion-dollar development. Atlantis is the largest water-themed attraction in the world, containing over twenty million gallons of water. This non-stop water experience, consists of thrilling new water slides, a mile-long river ride with high intensity rapids and wave surges, and never-before-seen special effects.

Dolphin Cay: Interact with playful dolphins in this new habitat.

Marine Habitat: 11 Exhibit lagoons contain more than 50,000 fascinating sea creatures representing over 250 species.
 
Marina: This luxury yacht harbour accommodates vessels of up to 220 feet.

Mandara Spa: Ancient Balinese healing touches, traditional European therapies and natural elements indigenous to The Bahamas.

Golf: Ocean Club Golf Course - 18-hole, par 72 championship course 

Watersports: At the 7-acre Paradise Lagoon, visit the Neptune's Water Toys hut to arrange for non-motorised water sports and excursions. Choose from water bikes, peddle boats, kayaks, water hammocks and snorkelling equipment rentals. Or, register for introductory SCUBA lessons, youth SCUBA and snorkelling programs. For your safety, please do not swim or venture beyond the areas marked by buoys in the lagoon and ocean.
