Set on the shores of Lake Como, the Hotel is located in one of the most important crossroads between Italy and Northern Europe. 60 minutes from Milan, 50 minutes from/to Fiera Milano Rho. The hotel blends history with modern facilities. Villa d'Este totals 152 rooms. The main house built in 1568 and known as the Cardinal's building counts 125 rooms while the trompe l'oeil masterpiece known as the Queen's Pavilion, inaugurated in 1860 has 27 rooms. In 1873 the two Villas combined into one property became Villa d'Este. Every air conditioned room is different both in size and décor. There is a Beauty Centre onsite aswell as a Sporting Club - directly connected to the Cardinal Villa through an underground corridor. Gym room, Sauna, Turkish baths, Squash, Golf simulator. Junior suites (67)
Located in both buildings. Very large rooms, bedroom and sitting area with views of lake, the gardens and the Mosaic, a much photographed national monument.

Suites (4)
Two separate rooms, one for sleeping and the other a full-sized living room. In the main building the majority overlook the lake terrace with a view of the opposite shore. In the Queen's Pavilion the view includes the pools and looks toward the town of Como.

Cardinal Suite (1)
The most spectacular suite at Villa d’Este. The Cardinal Suite is located in the original Cardinal Building, on the first floor. Complete with living quarters and separate sleeping quarters. The suite features a private terrace overlooking Lake Como which is the perfect place to sunbathe, have lunch or simply enjoy a favourite book. It is equipped with all of the expected amenities: International Direct Dial Telephone, Pay per View Movies, High Speed Internet, Minibar, safety deposit box and it has two plasma TVs (in the living room and in the bedroom).

Presidential Suites (2)
Located on the first floor in the Cardinal Building, these suites flank the Cardinal Suite. Both have fabulous views of Lake Como and Villa d’Este’s magnificent gardens. These suites also have living quarters and separate sleeping quarters and are equipped with International Direct Dial Telephone, Pay per View Movies, High Speed Internet, Minibar, safety deposit box and two plasma TVs (in the living room and in the bedroom).
